Our display is titled ''Then and Now - How things have changed'', featuring such varied items as Victorian bloomers and a robot vacuum cleaner. Come and see a prescription from ancient Babylon, a recipe for home made cough syrup which includes opium as one of the ingredients together with a range of interesting items.

Please visit Glenalvon on one of our Open Days to support the volunteers who work so hard to keep Glenalvon open.

Glenalvon is a classic sandstone town house dating from 1830. On open mornings the property is open from 10am to 1pm and activities include tours of the house, heritage gardens, buildings and the Rural exhibition centre.
