Seddon was the first Director of Glenfield Veterinary Research Station, first Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland, had private veterinary practices at Ingleburn and Campbelltown and was Trustee and Technical Director at McGarvie Smith Institute at Ingleburn.
